Wednesday Nature Nights

Connect with nature and your neighbors at The Nature Connection! Open to the public, all are invited to participate in our Wednesday programs. We’ll explore a different nature topic each week through workshops, crafts, or animal encounters. Every Wednesday, 6-7pm, at The Nature Connection. We hope to see you there!

March 6: Early Springtime Gardening

March 13: Earthnotes: Mindful Nature Journaling (This program runs from 6-7:30PM)

March 20: Springtime Birds - An Exploration for the Senses

March 27: Animal Encounter - Angora Rabbits!

CELEBRATING 40 YEARS

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our 40th year at Inspire! Thank You to everyone who joined the celebration. Together we shared delicious food from Saltbox Kitchen, met live owls and learned about these creatures with Eyes on Owls, and reflected on our past, present and future with Sarah and Rebecca. Through this celebration, we raised over $18,000!

The Nature Connection is Moving to West Concord in its 40th Year

We have exciting news this spring – in our 40th year, we will be moving to our new home in West Concord. NC will be newly headquartered at Brookside Square, behind Debra’s Natural Gourmet. With almost twice as much physical space and a central location as well as close proximity to Nashoba Brook and the Bruce-Freeman Railtrail, many possibilities for building on the year’s successes are on the horizon!

The Nature Connection Receives 10-Year Cummings Foundation Sustaining Grant

With this $200,000 grant, over the next decade, The Nature Connection plans to double our program sites yet again and launch webinar trainings for professional and family caregivers throughout the state and nation. We aim to give the healing power of nature to many hundreds more vulnerable individuals in our communities.
