This virtual gathering is open to all new and existing friends of The Nature Connection who want to a deeper look into our work and to hear about our program impact during COVID-19. This 45 minute event will feature brief remarks from members of our organization, an interactive nature activity, and stories of therapeutic nature in practice by guest speaker, Dr. Blaise Aguirre, MD.

Blaise Aguirre, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who has been a staff psychiatrist at McLean Hospital since 2000 and is nationally and internationally recognized for his extensive work in the treatment of mood and personality disorders in adolescents. He is the founding medical director of 3East continuum of care, an array of programs for teens which use DBT to target self-endangering behaviors as well as the symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD) traits. He also lectures regularly throughout the world and is the author or co-author of many books including Borderline Personality Disorder in AdolescentsMindfulness for Borderline Personality DisorderCoping with BPD, and Fighting Back.

Dr. Aguirre regularly incorporates nature into his therapy practice to
