The Nature Connection is holding a volunteer training for individuals interested in helping to deliver our monthly nature-based therapeutic programs at partner sites.

Volunteers should have experience or interest in environmental education, psychology, social work, occupational therapy or the arts; or have worked with people with disabilities, youth, elders, or animals.

We ask volunteers to make a year-long commitment, at least 2 weekday (Tuesday – Friday) hours once a month.  Participation in this workshop is required for new volunteers who would like to help deliver life-changing programs to some of our community’s most vulnerable members.

Volunteer Training will consist of an introduction to The Nature Connection and an overview of our program methodology, including safe handling of natural materials and live therapy animals.
