In Memory of Alexander Michael Belyea

Alexander Michael Belyea

October 24, 1993 – November 6, 2017

Alex was happiest outdoors and in the presence of animals. He worked at a local horse farm and with tradesmen to learn the building trades. His friends and family remember his empathetic nature and how he reached out to people and animals in need.

Please honor Alex’s life by making a donation to The Nature Connection and help make connections between people in need and the natural world.

Your gift will deliver live animals and natural materials to the most vulnerable individuals in our communities:  at-risk youth living in residential or foster homes, elders with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and youth and adults with disabilities.

Thank you for bringing the healing power of nature to youth and vulnerable people of all ages.

    The Pasture
    BY ROBERT FROST

    I’m going out to clean the pasture spring;
    I’ll only stop to rake the leaves away
    (And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
     I sha’n’t be gone long.—You come too.

    I’m going out to fetch the little calf
    That’s standing by the mother. It’s so young,
    It totters when she licks it with her tongue.
    I sha’n’t be gone long.—You come too.
