At our Nature Center, curiosity leads the way. Visitors are invited to touch, explore, and connect with seasonal displays of the natural world through all their senses. Whether you're feeling the texture of tree bark, examining the delicate pattern of a bird feather, or meeting one of our animal ambassadors up close, every moment is an invitation to slow down and notice.
Meet the Animals
Come face-to-face with some of our therapy animal ambassadors! We have rabbits, chinchillas, a snake, a guinea pig, snails, and more. While these animals are not for petting, visitors are encouraged to observe quietly and learn about their natural behaviors, adaptations, and personalities.
Our animals play a meaningful role in our therapeutic programs, helping to spark connection, curiosity, and calm. Observation allows us to respect their needs while still forming a bond—inviting visitors to slow down, notice details, and build empathy through presence and patience.
